Some frequently asked questions are shown below. Use our dynamic online ordering to configure and order your print.

What is the order turnaround time?

We aim to complete and ship your order within 1-2 working days of receipt.

How do I send my file(s)?

We are currently testing a new solution whereby you can upload your file at the time of configuring your print(s).

Your order confirmation includes a link to upload your file(s) via WeTransfer, remember to include your order number and the same email used to place your order.

What are the prices?

Our prices start from £4.00 + VAT, you can configure your print using our dynamic online ordering.

How should I prepare my files for printing?

For best results, please use the following specification:

  • File type: TIFF
  • Size your file for the finished printed image, including any white border you require.
  • Resolution: 300 dpi
  • Colourspace: Adobe RGB (1998)
  • Bit depth: 16-bit for black and white 8-bit for colour

We also accept the following file formats:

  • PDF
  • PSD
  • JPG
  • HEIC
  • PNG

We also accept files with the following colourspace:

  • sRGB – smaller colour space than Adobe RGB (1998), therefore, has a lower colour gamut
  • ProPhotoRGB – an experimental large gamut colour space
  • Greyscale – Gray Gamma 2.2

Can I collect?

Yes, we will organise with you when your order is ready for collection. Please ensure you have an appointment before visiting the studio.

Which is better, inkjet pigment print or giclée print?

Giclée was a name given to inkjet prints by Jack Duganne at Nash Editions for Iris inkjet prints in 1990s. Giclée is derived from the French word meaning to ‘spurt’ or ‘squirt’. A giclée print is an inkjet print that could be dye or pigment inks, the latter being more archival. Nash Editions refer to giclée or archival pigment print as ‘fine art digital reproductions’.

Do you make prints larger than A2?

Thanks to Lucid Imaging, a Hahnemühle Certified Studio Gold partner, we are now able to offer prints up to 64″ shortest side.

Can you print borderless on A5?

In short, yes. Borderless prints are made on rolls and trimmed to size.

How much is Postage & Packaging?

You can select shipping or collection at checkout.

Our shipping options are typically:

  • 1-2 working days via UPS signed for £8.50 + VAT
  • Next working day Royal Mail signed for £7.25 + VAT

or

Collection options:

  • Collection in person – £3.00 + VAT for packaging
  • Eco-friendly Collection in person – bring your own packaging for your print(s)

What about returns if my print(s) arrive damaged?

In the unlikely event your prints arrive damaged, please take photographs of the packaging and damaged prints. UPS and Royal Mail ask us for proof of packaging and damage. Please take photographs of the damaged package and contents, then send this information to us so that we can start making it right. Do keep the packaging until we have resolved the issue.
